Street Closures and Other Relevant Info

STREET CLOSURES:
Biscayne Boulevard, from November 17-22:
--Northbound traffic from Brickell Bridge, through Biscayne Boulevard Way, until Flagler Street
--Southbound traffic restricted at Flagler Street

Brickell Avenue:
--Northbound traffic will be detoured before the Brickell Bridge from November 17-22


BRIDGE CLOSURES:
Brickell Avenue Bridge:
--All vehicular traffic will be restricted onto the Brickell Avenue Bridge from November 16 at 12:00pm to November 22 at 12:00pm


HIGHWAY EXIT CLOSURES:
Biscayne Boulevard Exit off I-95 on to S.E. 4th Street
--This exit will be closed to vehicular traffic, November 17 at 12:00am to November 22 at 12:00pm


METROBUS:
Miami-Dade Transit will operate regular Metrobus service during the FTAA events. However, routes serving downtown Miami be detoured. You can get up to date information by calling Miami-Dade Transit Customer Services, (305) 770-3131. Residents living south of SW 216 Street should call (305) 891-3131.


METRORAIL:
The Metrorail Earlington Heights station will be closed Monday, November 17 to Friday, November 21, 2003. Shuttle service will be provided from Earlington Heights to the Brownsville and Allappattah station. All other Metrorail stations will remain open and operating regularly scheduled 24-hour service during the event. This schedule is subject to change.

METROMOVER:
The inner loop will operate 24 hours, and outer loop service to Brickell and Omni will operate until 12:30am. Bayfront Park and Riverwalk stations will be closed. This is subject to change.

MIAMI-DADE'S ANSWER CENTER
During the week of the FTAA events, the Miami-Dade's Answer Center will offer information regarding road closures, parking, etc. due to FTAA. Staff will be ready to answer questions in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole from Monday, November 17th to Friday, November 21st, 2003, from 8:00am to 12:00 midnight. The Answer Center's number is 305-468-5900.
